As I delved into the selection, I was greeted by a lively environment filled with laughter and the aroma of delectable dishes. The staff, characterized by their energetic and accommodating nature, makes every visit feel special. Many patrons, like 'Valued Customer', have noted the courteous service, adding a personal touch that elevates the dining experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a casual meal, the attentive staff at Burntwood Tavern Solon is here to cater to your every need.
The menu, while subject to changes over time, continues to offer a mix of familiar favorites and new culinary creations. Standout items such as the rib grilled cheese and flavorful cocktails have received raving reviews from customers like Austin, who can’t resist returning whenever they are in town. For those who prefer brunch, as Mollie Marcus discovered, this tavern is perfect for larger gatherings. Our servers ensured a seamless experience for a mini baby shower, highlighting their commitment to excellence.
However, not every dish has hit the mark, as Cindy Mustafa pointed out—her experience with a salty fettuccine Alfredo and overly crispy Chicken Parmesan suggested a room for improvement. Despite this, the general consensus leans favorably, especially for the drink selection, which Julia Lukacs and her party found to be universally acclaimed.
In conclusion, Burntwood Tavern Solon offers a modern tavern experience with a mix of hearty dishes and a welcoming ambiance. They have cultivated a community around good food and pleasant service, making it a wonderful spot for gatherings and casual dining. Next time you're in the area, be sure to stop by to enjoy an unforgettable meal! Whether you're sipping cocktails or indulging in their signature dishes, the Burntwood Tavern promises an experience to remember.
“ Princess provided our service. She was energetic and courteous. She continued to inquire if my family and I required anything. The menu has undergone changes, I miss the old menu and the old happy hours ....We had a wonderful time! ”
“ We had a good dining experience not spectacular. Chicken Parmesan very very crispy and fettuccine Alfredo was salty and not very much like alfredo. The grilled chicken salad was chopped ice burg lettuce and hard nuts. Price vs quality fell short. It wasn't terrible but we felt it could of been better. ”
“ Staff was very courteous and engaging. The food was spectacular. Always come here when we are in town. Highly recommend the rib grilled cheese or their chili. ”
“ We dined here with a group of 11 women last Sunday for brunch and had a mini baby shower celebration. The service was excellent. Yolanda and another woman that may have been training were our servers and they were super attentive and got all of our orders correct and out in a timely manner. The food was wonderful as well! Will definitely be back. Great experience overall! ”
“ Food was great. Service was excellent. They were able to seat us early which was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend all the drinks and cocktails- not a single one in my seven person party was disappointed. The food was very good. Not a single complaint at the table about the food. ”
“ Was here several years ago, and the experience was not so good. This time, the food was great, the service was just as great! We were there for an event, and they did a fantastic job. I'm looking forward to going back. ”
“ Was out kayaking with my father on ladue reservoir this afternoon and was absolutely ready to get some food in us after the paddle and baking in the sun. Decided we wanted to try and stop at a restaurant that would be relatively on our way back home. A quick search along the route and burntwood tavern made it to the top of our list. We were seated quickly, the restaurant was virtually empty (it was around 3pm) except for a few parties sitting outside on the patio area. The staff attended to us quickly, took out orders, and kept our drinks refilled very promptly. Appetizers arrived quickly (house salad for my dad, Angus sliders for us to share) he was happy with the house dressing and the sliders scratched the burger itch I wanted without having to order a full meal. I ordered the harvest chicken salad and he ended up ordering the Angus burger (the slider was not enough to scratch that itch for him :) ) Food came quickly and hot. The marinade on the chicken was the first thing that hit my nose and it setup for an overall good (but perhaps a little small for the price) salad. The Angus burger was a proper size and came with a small basket of fries that ended up being perfect for us to both nibble from without being too large that they went to waste. Overall, service was excellent and the food was great. Menu pricing is a little on the higher end but still reasonable, I think, given the general quality. I would have loved to see a bit more lettuce in my salad to fill it out a bit more but the rest of the items were decently proportioned. ”
“ We enjoyed this delightful cauliflower loaded appetizer. It had a very mild spice, which was just enough for my liking. The smash burger was a bit salty so if your sensitive to that ask for less. This was our first visit to the Tavern so definitely wear casual Friday clothes. The live music was also nice. Pretty busy for a Thursday and Service was well timed. Thanks for helping us celebrate 40 years of marital bliss and here's to many more years to come. ”
